A Khan Everywhere You Look

In every story of war and warriors, there is usually some guy off in the corner somewhere, making a bundle by devising and selling weaponry. Because war makes for such good business, and enemies and friends can shift as quickly as the wind, who you’re buying your weapons from and who you happen to be using them against at any given moment really doesn’t carry that much significance in the larger picture.

That being said, it is ridiculous that President Bush would be making that big a deal about “evil doers” and the spread of WMD when he and the C.I.A. have known for years that guys like A.Q. Khan were supplying nuclear material and devices to countries like Libya, North Korea and Iran.
