Two Ways To Look At It

Clinton-Des-Moines

There is a clever image of Bill Clinton that has been on the newswire since Saturday.  It was taken at the Brown and Black Presidential Forum in Des Moines.

If big media has been afraid to call out Clinton for asserting he was against the war from the beginning, it seems the visual press couldn’t let it pass without at least a telegraph.  In this frozen moment-in-time — Bubba looking one way and gesticulating the other — Reuters photographer Carlos Barria not only frames the controversy but drives home the contradiction.
