Inauguration Watch: Next-Gen GOP Already "Having a Ball"

My tweet today (before I saw the pictures):

Jerry Brown sworn in, no cupcake, down to biz. GOP’s Scott (R-HMO) in FL doing it up like dotcom days before bubble burst.

…Yeah, it was before I saw the hot dog. The comparison tells you a lot, though, between the Brown austerity agenda and the two-day Scott inauguration extravaganza.

Not that Jerry didn’t have a little event inside following the swearing in and before the wiener. But then, try comparing that to the multi-day, budget-blowing, rolling Rick-fest, including:

The Corresponding Gastronomy

Rick, and the Rick Inauguration concert.

Rick and the First Lady at the First Lady’s Shindig.

The Inauguration.

And then, the official mega-Inauguration parade!
