Obama/Florida Watch: Two Bushes in the Hand

Two Bushes in the Hand

It’s a subtley strategic WH photo op, especially days before given the election calendar. Some take-aways:

1. Nothing like exploiting some face time with the ex-Gov in the closing days of the Florida GOP primary.

2. Nothing like reinforcing how Jeb, in his home state, couldn’t find a GOP candidate worth endorsing.

3. Nothing like still another aisle-crossing photo-op, further softening up moderates of all stripes, as well as emphasizing, through Dubya’s absence, what happened last time presidential voters went GOP.

4. Especially after the Brewer nastiness, another example of Obama as the respectful guy, especially paying respects to Poppa in his twilight. (Though the alignment with MLK is a little funny.)
