What's the Difference Between Campaign '12 and a Ham Sandwich?: Photographer M. Scott Brauer in New Hampshire

Photographer M. Scott Brauer is on the ground in New Hampshire for BagNews. We will be posting his images through the primary.

We usually don’t go in for pure ridicule, but this shot was hard to overlook, what with Newt’s boys looking like G-Men and presenting in front of an RNC banner at the same Gingrich’s “shred-the-Mitt” scorched earth tactics further undermines the Republican brand. And then, given this weak field of candidates we’ve all been subjected to (and stand to further endure), this photo not only offers necessary comic relief before the “first in the nation” primary on Tuesday, but cries out for comparison to the line Walter Mondale laid on Gary Hart back in ’84: “Where’s the beef?”

Gingrich is seeking the 2012 Republican nomination for president.)
