Romney's Etch-a-Sketch


Time Magazine’s Joe Klein  is calling the Etch-a-Sketch gaffe a “campaign-defining disaster” along the lines of John Kerry’s 2004   “I voted for it before I voted against it” gaffe. We’ll see how that goes.

I can tell you what Romney didn’t want: He didn’t want any member of his campaign, including his wife Ann, thumbnailed next to candidates making obvious, visual fun of her husband. She bears it with some grace, probably more than her husband who allegedly responded to questions by “grabbing a reporter’s tape recorder.”

And just what is Santorum looking at in the back seat of his car?

That would be an Etch-a-Sketch of Seamus Romney on a family vacation:
