“The place we met” // An outtake from my ongoing Two Face project commissioned for the June issue of Harper’s Magazine . In this multiple exposure , Jeanette Rubio, wife of former Republican presidential hopeful and Senator from Florida Marco Rubio, hangs out and makes calls to voters in Rubio HQ in Miami , FL during the Florida primary Election Day. Later that evening Marco bowed out of the race the night Donald Trump swept the state, leaving many local supporters saddened. The night previous to the election Rubio stood in this playground with supporters and media and reminisced about how he and Jeanette met in that very same playground in their highly Cuban neighborhood in Miami when they were younger .
