The "Mosque Exclusion Zone"

I’m wondering about the distance between Bloomberg and Lady Liberty… as compared to, say, the distance between the Cordoba House and Ground Zero — these matters often being a matter of perception.

(And if the statue did stand for Ground Zero, or the new “Freedom Tower,” and Bloomberg represented the new Islamic Center, it’s also telling how out-of-focus he is, especially the flag pin reflecting how much he and the statue are aligned.)

After much protest over a mosque being built near Ground Zero, the commission’s vote clears the way for the property to be converted into a mosque and community center.)
