9/11: One Day, Ten Years

Since we’re about to get 9/11 inundated, I thought we should wade in….

What I like about the New York Mag anniversary cover is the message how little, ten years later, we’re that much over, above or beyond it. I never would have imagined, but I fully agree.

This is also a nice, if inferential rebuttal, by the way, to all the magazine and newspaper covers proclaiming how bin Laden “lost” when he was killed a few months back. If he really “lost,”though, wouldn’t the smoke have cleared out by now?
