Every Story Tells A Picture: The Latest From Abu Ghraib

Leaving the latest Abu Ghraib pictures and video for others to publish, I believe the statements of the detainees are much more powerful.

Watching the video that was just released seems to only reinforce the anonymity of the photos. When you read the statements, however, they have the effect of rendering the situation in human terms. These straight forward, idiosyncratic statements not only recreate the events more emotionally but also more three-dimensionally.
