Bayh Stays Behind

I thought this was an interesting selection among the newswire offerings on Evan Bayh today — given how much his spur-of-the-moment retirement decision puts the White House in a very bad frame.

The photo shows the Senator looking on admiringly after he and Obama arrived at Andrews Air Force Base together a week-and-a-half ago, just before Obama departed on Marine One.
