4. Beyond the pretty face, erasing Sarah’s body emphasizes how much that head has to offer.

3. FedEx = packaging. Beyond the political, it also speaks to how SP markets herself as a physical package.

The way the head contacts with the “L” and the “i” suggests at least three things: a.) the stick figure body offers Sarah as an over-sized cartoon; b.) it’s also a pin prick, playing on SP’s sense that she and the base are always under attack; c.) it’s about collision — perhaps Palin’s true “trademark.”

1. The larger message, though — because you could as easily swap in Obama here — is that: the “productizing” of the American politician is now complete.
