There’s an interesting vibe in this wire photo of the Pope off Malta. According to the caption, he was on the island to express “‘his personal ‘shame and sorrow’ to victims of pedophile priests at a surprise meeting.”

Given the context (and hush-hush), it looks like he’s visiting a leper colony.
