Auld Lang $yne

Auld Lang $yne

What’s your guess? Times Square at midnight last night?

Try, the Chicago Board of Trade. And, they’re not just celebrating New Years but the fact the markets — while most Americans were getting battered — rose 10% last year. As just one more confetti pic stuffed into New Years Eve photo galleries, it’s actually a bitter reminder of the two (opposite trending) Americas.

See the whole joyous slide show. It’s … priceless (the “Jerry Maguire-ish” #6 especially).

The U.S. stock indices posted positive returns for 2010 with the S&P, Dow and Nasdaq on pace to close the year up over 10 percent.)
