"No Katrina In My Irene-a!"

Given how Katrina blew Bush out of the water, it seems a no-brainer that the President, as soon as the weather maps started going all swirly, would have gotten himself out to FEMA H.Q. for this photo-op.

1. Furniture drives home anti-Katrina optics. Chair symmetry = all our ducks-in-a-row!

2. It’s really impressive how martial this is, especially lining up Obama with the uniform and the shoulder insignia. As proven already, 44 is not afraid to go to war. (Then again, there’s the boardroom vibe. Obama as C.E.O.)

3a. And then, what’s with the name cards? – #1:

Not Chertoff. Not Bush. not Brownie.

3b. What’s with the name cards? – #2:

I’m the other guy.
