Protest Art and OWS: Hanging the Bankers

Mannequin OWS

I saw this in a photo gallery a couple days ago. I had a few takes, and I’m interested in yours. The caption reads:

A mannequin dressed as a banker hangs from a noose as part of an Occupy Wall Street- themed mural by the artist known as Above, Thursday, Oct. 27, 2011, in the Wynwood neighborhood of Miami.

1. What can happen when you think you’re above it all.

2. When they’re done eating cake….

3. Grittier parallel to Arab Spring

4 . Artistic license.

I think the real question here (from a media standpoint) is: what is the impact on OWS when popular anger, and independent expressions like this get associated to it, as we see in this caption?
