The New Foreboding: Our Twitter and Instagram Favs of the Week

Our round up this week is mostly colored by the transition. The antagonistic tone of the president-elect and his team, Trump’s divisive cabinet choices, the political pushback and what it all portends for the future is embodied in this ominous image of the Capitol Building by Olivier Contreras. In our Joan Walsh retweet, you notice we’re trying something new. We are reading visual language. In between the domestic politics, we also recognize the Russian boot in Syria and the passing of John Glenn. If the holidays represent a time out, they couldn’t be coming at a better time.
